Break the cycle.
Re-write your story.
You’re a mom who’s determined to do things differently. You’ve set out to break the unhealthy cycles you grew up with because you want more for yourself and your kids. But despite your best efforts, something keeps getting in the way.

The strong emotions and overwhelming sensations in your mind and body take over, leaving you stuck in the same reactive patterns you swore you’d never repeat. And when the dust settles, the guilt and shame feel unbearable.

Sound familiar? You’re not alone—and you’re not failing.

Healing from your past while navigating motherhood is complex and challenging.. It’s not about trying harder or being perfect. It’s about giving yourself the support you deserve to heal, grow, and show up in the ways you’ve always imagined.

Together, we’ll create space for you to reconnect with yourself, heal old wounds, and uncover the version of you that’s always been waiting underneath.

Because healing is the ultimate act of love for you,
and your little ones..

Are you ready to break the cycle and step into the life you’re truly wanting for yourself?

Hi, I’m Amanda

I’m a NARM Master Therapist, trauma informed coach, and fellow cycle-breaking mom of two. I create a safe and supportive space to help you break free from patterns that no longer serve you, empowering you to show up more fully for yourself and your children.

With over a decade as a licensed therapist, I’ve spent the past five years studying and receiving mentorship at the Complex Trauma Training Center (CTTC). This work deepened my understanding of complex trauma and the transformative power of the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM).

Motherhood brought these lessons to life in ways I could never have imagined. During my time at CTTC, I welcomed my son, and two years later, my daughter. Navigating my own healing while raising children humbled me and enriched my appreciation for the complexities of healing. It also solidified my commitment to supporting mothers on their own transformative journeys.

I am here to walk alongside you—moms who are ready to meet themselves, perhaps for the first time. Together, we’ll navigate this powerful chapter of healing and transformation, for you and the generations to come.

Services
1
Individual Therapy
Healing is a creative and transformative journey. My NARM-based individual therapeutic work combines the power of the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) with art, writing, and education to help you heal from the impacts of your past and step into a more authentic, empowered life.
NARM is a trauma-informed approach that focuses on addressing the deep patterns rooted in developmental and relational trauma.
2
Group Therapy
Healing happens in community. When we come together with others who share the desire to break generational cycles and heal from the past, we create a powerful space for growth, connection, and transformation. Through NARM-based therapeutic groups, you’ll engage in a trauma-informed process that integrates art, writing, and education to support deep healing and self-discovery.
3
Community Care
Our Community Care events and groups are designed to bring people together in a welcoming, supportive environment where you can simply be yourself. These gatherings offer a space to reintroduce the vital element of community back into our often-isolated lives. These are not therapy groups, but still play an important role in healing.
My Approach
Cognitive, Somatic, and Experiential—
A Multidimensional Approach to Healing
Complex trauma is, well… complex. Healing requires an approach that embraces all its dimensions. My work integrates the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)—a cutting-edge cognitive and somatic framework—alongside expressive arts, adding a powerful experiential element to the process. This multidimensional approach allows us to explore your thoughts, emotions, body, and creativity, meeting the complexity of trauma with the depth it deserves.
Healing on All Levels: Individual, Relational, and Communal
Developmental trauma can disrupt our ability to feel safe—within ourselves, in our relationships, and in the world around us. True healing involves restoring this sense of safety and connection on all levels.
My approach supports you in reconnecting to your inner self, nurturing healthier relationships, and discovering a sense of belonging within a community. By addressing individual, relational, and communal aspects of healing, we create a foundation for growth that is both deeply personal and profoundly connected.
Designed for
Complex Trauma-
Created for Moms Like You
The NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) is one of the first approaches developed specifically for complex and developmental trauma. Rooted in this groundbreaking model, my work goes a step further—bringing together the art and science of NARM with the insights I’ve gained as a cycle-breaking mom.
This unique blend of expertise and lived experience is tailored to support moms navigating the challenges of healing while raising children. It’s an approach that honors the complexity of your trauma, the depth of your love, and your desire to break the cycles of the past.
Common Questions
Are you virtual or in person?
Both! Need the flexibility to jump on a video call during your lunch break or between soccer games? Or maybe you’d love the chance to get out of the house and connect with other adults in person. I offer individual and group sessions in both formats, making it easier to incorporate healing into your busy life. My office is located in Winfield, Il at 0S050 Winfield Road Suite 204.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Scheduling an appointment with me is simple. Just use my online scheduler to book a convenient time for your initial consultation. If we both feel like the fit is right, I will send you the link to fill out your paperwork. If you prefer connecting over email, feel free to reach out that way: amanda@resonanthealingco.com
If you’re interested in a group, fill out the group interest form on our group page and I will follow up with the registration link and paperwork.
Do you take insurance?
My practice is self-pay, meaning I am not in-network with insurance. However, I’m happy to check your out-of-network benefits before starting services to explore what coverage may be available to you.
I also offer a complimentary service through a company called Thrizer, which allows me to submit out-of-network claims on your behalf. Thrizer sends your reimbursement directly to your bank account, making the process seamless.
